LIMINAL
by Darcy Shilton
CATALOGUE
Liminal is an exploration of change, a dissection of its phases. Change is terrifying, but the fear is softened when viewed through a natural lens. A seed can represent the space before change: stillness, stasis and potential. Rain can be seen as the liminal: stillness turns to chaos and destruction, and flow leads to untethering and creation. The exhibition pauses at this uncomfortable threshold, this liminal space and offers faith that whatever occurs after will lead to complexity, richness and growth because that is what we are shown when we look to the natural world.

FLY
by Akemi
CATALOGUE
From whimsical pop culture nods to painful, introspective dives, in this body of work Akemi explores loss, catharsis, and the deeply personal struggle to stay human in an increasingly inhumane world.
Each piece is a symbol. A tiny glyph in the alphabet of human experience. I hope, through this symbolic language, to touch on both the commonality and richness of what it is to be human, the struggles, losses, laughs and joys.
We are more alike than different.
This is my song.

USING MY HANDS SO THEY DON’T TEXT MY EX
by Hannah Atherton
CATALOGUE
“What do you notice when your main focal point disappears? For me, it is people, gestures and the in-between moments.” - Hannah Atherton
Honest, raw, emotive and fresh; a few simple words that barely express the variety within the collection. Art that uplifts the spirit and brings freshness to the mind, body and soul. Like that feeling you get after you go for a long run or have a big cry. When the world is coated with an iridescence that can only be brought about by hard work and tough love, or a hard love that was tough work. With paintings framed in stained glass, wrapped in stiff or soft fabric and crystallised in silver, Atherton’s works playfully relax into each other to form a party of blurry faces and softly held hands.

NIGHTSHADE
by Zachary Beven
CATALOGUE
You pick the flower
that only blooms at night
the one witches smeared on their skin to fly
the one that unspools the world in hallucination
Of course you think
all the same
a threshold, looking left, then right
an angel’s wing bowed
your cheeks flushed
the devil whispering
a way in
a way through
a way gone
It tears the veil
what it shows is doubled
natural / supernatural
intimacy / violence
beauty / danger
No self-regard
they said you are unnatural
so you do the obvious thing
press the flower to your tongue
Chew
Swallow
