SIDE GALLERY IN THE MEANTIME Life often takes the long way around. I’ve learned that uncertainty can still move us forward in quiet ways. Waiting for my Australian residency reminded me of other turns in my life, like when I had to leave university because of money. Those pauses once felt heavy, but they led me to work, to learn, and to meet people who changed me. Through watercolor, pencil, and acrylics, I paint these in-between moments of waiting, shifting, and finding small meanings in the time between where I was and where I am now.

UPSTAIRS GALLERY DREAM MACHINES Dream Machines is a voyage into a realm of mystical fluid forms, bending and dissolving around machines at the forefront. Each work reimagines the automobile as psychic presence, shifting between dreams and landscapes of vibrant colour. Referencing an era of Kyusha car design during the 1970s & ‘80s, this body of work invites viewers to be hypnotised by these Kaido racers as they drift through dynamic abstractions.
