Antony Maubach Gallery Assistant/Live Music Coordinator Antony joined the Off the Kerb Gallery team in March 2010 after initially being introduced to the gallery through his participation in the Couchexhibition in 2009. Upon completion of high school in Melbourne in 2007, Antony ventured to Berlin where he lived and worked amidst the flourishing art scene. He spent ten months working as an art assistant for Berlin based concept artist Gregor Hildebrandt. During the construction of installations he realized his interest in spatial composition and form. Antony is an architecture student at Melbourne University and also enjoys studying art history. He is a musician and enjoys Melbourne’s live music scene. He is passionate about it's uniqueness and has both organized and performed at such events as the mini music festival at The Tote (opposite Off the Kerb). Antony's role at Off the Kerb is to coordinate live music events at the gallery, assist with set up and managing the bar on opening nights.
