 Fiona has completed her Bachelor of Visual Arts and Design Degree at the Australian Catholic University in Melbourne. Fiona has many interests and skills within the art and design field where her focus is in designing exhibition spaces, interiors and furnishings. In her graduate year her folio focused on the idea of reconstruction and recycling. Her work consisted of furniture and lighting designs created from recycled materials and objects, giving new life and purpose to the discarded. Through her internship at Off the Kerb Fiona works directly with the artists installing and curating their shows. She also works as Off the Kerb’s Graphic Designer and gallery assistant. This sees her work on all graphic design projects and conduct administrative practices at the gallery. She previously worked closely with director Shini Pararajasingham on Special Projects where she helped design the gallery catalogue ‘Lucky 13.’ Fiona feels that Off the Kerb is the perfect environment for her to develop her skills in business as well as have access to and be involved in the current artistic community.
