Emma Frederick Graphic Designer & Set up Assistant

Emma Frederick is a graphic designer, artist and a frequenter of op shops and garage sales, where she hunts for treasure. She is a mad collector of all manner of objects which inspire her. She completed an Honours Degree in Visual Communication at Monash University in 2007. The result of her Honours research project was "Kitsch & Caboodle", her first exhibition which was held at Off the Kerb as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival 2007.

"Kitsch & Caboodle" was a transformation of the gallery space into a living room of furniture and decor that reflected her collection of objects, including a mass collection of owls and a display of pineapple shaped wooden bowls.

As well as having an interest in all kinds of design, she has a passion for art. She contributes to Off the Kerb by assisting with exhibition set up and enjoys the contact it gives her with other members of the art community.
