The two series, "People like us" by Adam Brozinski and "Love and Loss" by Elizabeth Nigol capture a moment of the subject's lives to explore the human condition in showing parallel representations of depth and surface. In particular, the apathy and dissent felt as we realize our helplessness and inability to be free. This is not a defeatist statement, but a reflection of the distractions and superficialities people consume themselves with, as we all grow and discover our authentic selves.
